Abstract

The visual electrical phenomena described way back in 1800s has gone under sea changes. Educational activity in this field remained slow unlike the dramatic entry of OCT. We concentrate on anatomical and functional part of the refractive aspects and the electrical phenomena escapes our attention. In many centers the electrophysiology is restricted to VEP generally conducted by neurologists. And Of course! There is a tendency to shy away from this science.

But now the scenario is changing. Better equipment are available with standardization by International Society for clinical electrophysiology.

Our basic course will have enough take home messages which will be sufficient to make you confident to start electrophysiology.
