Abstract
2020 is a landmark year in the history of mankind. It has brought many changes to lifestyle & retinal surgery is not left untouched. VR surgery has far advanced in the last decade, coming to a modern area of instrumentation and better approaches from the retinal surgeon, making the procedure easier to perform, thus contributing to a better follow up and recovery from the disease. This course highlights a few changes adopted by surgeons in managing retinal disease differently in 2020. The course covers all aspects i.e. investigations, medical and surgical. The course includes newer trends in the management of common retinal disorders. This intermediate level course will be conducted by experts and aims at general ophthalmologists and retina surgeons in training or in practice and educates them about the recent trends that are taking place in management of retinal disease. After attending this course delegates will be able to adopt these new procedures in their day to day practice.
