Abstract

A 23 Yrs Female presented with LE Painless drop of vision for 6moths which is insidious onset and gradually progressing , RE poor vision since childhood .Clinically BCVA – RE PL+, PR Accurate , LE 3/60, N18, BE Coloboma of Iris with inferior zonulaiar dialysis , cataractous Lens with NSI+CC+ASC (L>R), Fundus OU -Coloboma Choroid with healthy disc .A Phacoemulsification with capsular supporting hooks aftercapsulorhexis and followed by phaco done by ozile dynamics and CTR was placed in capsular bag, a 3 piece IOL placed in bag, immediate post op was unevent full and after 6weeks she presented with clear cornea , quiet eye , with IOL in situ and LE BCVA – 6/18, N8,

Phaco in a coloboma iris with zonular dialysis is a surgically challenging scenario but with proper Pre-OP proper Planning , minor modification of surgical technique we can get Predictable out come ..its the Surgical Pearl of my presentation
