Abstract
Case description: A 30 year old female patient (KP) with chief complaints of diminution of vision in both eyes since 8 years , difficulty In hearing in both ears since 8 years. She was a diagnosed case of hypertension and diabetes mellitus and had been taking regular medications. On thorough examination we found renal parenchymal disease, SNHL, Retinoscopy reveals classic oildroplet silhouette against the red reflex, Slit lamp examination reveals anterior & posterior lenticonus
Management: since no cure is available, patient was symptomatically treated and oildroplet cataract was removed by ab interno technique and SFIOL inserted
Conclusion: A rare case was timely diagnosed and treated
