Abstract
Method- A prospective observational study was carried out on two hundred patients. After keratometry of two hundred patients by OB, AXL of hundred patients was calculated by OB and other hundred patients by IUS. The post operative refraction was done after one month phacoemulsification.
Result- difference of mean AXL between the two instruments was statistically significant and visual acuity calculated at one month phacoemulsification with both instruments was statistically significant.
Conclusion- resultant refractive outcome achieved using OB was significantly better than IUS.
