Abstract
On examination mild chin elevation was noted in both. The patients had raised eyebrows showing frontalis overaction. Bilateral ptosis was seen in both. Thickening of eyelid margins was noted. No mechanical causes of ptosis was observed. The MRD1 in twin1 is -2mm, MRD2 is 5mm in both eyes.The MRD1 in twin2 is -2mm, MRD2 is 4mm in both eyes. Eyelid crease absent in both.Frontal sling operation was done for one eye each in both siblings and they were provided BCL postoperatively. On follow up there is no residual ptosis.
During camp screening, a plethora of other diseases can be detected and managed. A simple MRD evaluation if done as a part of primary screening ,can help us detect neglected cases like these.
