Abstract
MATERIALS AND METHODS: We hereby present a case of 30 year old male who presented with chief complaint of blurring of vision in left eye since 5 years which was gradual in onset and progressive in nature. His visual acuity was 6/9 OD and FC-3m OS. External signs, munson’s sign present which is a Vshaped conformation of the lower eyelid produced by the ectatic cornea in downgaze.
DISCUSSION: Keratoconus is a greek word, kerato meaning cornea and konos meaning cone shaped protrusion of cornea. Several studies have reported a strong association between eye rubbing & development of keratoconus. This condition may result in poor uncorrected vision on the basis of irregular and/or asymmetric astigmatism.
