Abstract
A 43Y M came with DOV in LE due to macular edema 2° to IT-BRVO.His BCVA was 6/20.Ant seg findings were WNL.LE fundus showed IT-BRVO with significant ME.OCT showed cystoid ME with CMT of 631μ.After informed consent, first intravitreal anti-VEGF(Bevacizumab) was given. At months f/u, CMT reduced to156μ. At 2months f/u CMT was 702μ, so 2nd dose was given.Similar cycle of treatment & recurrence occurred 7 times.Re-treatment based on clinical impression & persistent/new cystoid changes, rise in CMT after initial improvement.Following last injection,OCT showed persistent cystic spaces, hence trial of subthreshold yellow laser (Iridex medical IQ577 -Iridex Corporation) was given.Micropulse operating mode, with 380mW Power,200ms duration & spot size of 200 μm was used.Appx 637 spots were given on central macula.Post 1month, CMT was 102μ with decreased cystic spaces. Long term F/U at 30M showed improved VA 12/20. Final OCT showed CMT of 84μ with normal of foveal contour& absence of cystic spaces.
