Abstract

AIM-To assess the efficacy of oral omega-3 fatty acid on computer user related dry eye symptoms

METHOD-A prospective study including 60 symptomatic patients using computer for more than 4 hours per day for 1 year presented to our OPD between January 2019 to december 2020 were taken . Schirmer’s test ,tear break up time and conjuctival impression cytology done.

RESULT-Out of 60 patients 45 patients improved the symptoms of dry eye

CONCLUSION- Dry eye diseases are of multifactorial in its aetiology affecting all age groups. Early and appropriate management will provide ocular comfort and satisfaction with a better quality of life .
