Abstract

A retrospective analysis of patients registered to a newly developed glaucoma clinic at a tertiary eye care centre in Western Rajasthan at the 3 months of its inception revealed that the age group of 16-79 years enrolled in the clinic with maximum incidence in age > 60 years with a male preponderance. Average vertical C:D ratio was > 0.7 for both open angle and angle closure glaucoma suggesting an advanced stage at presentation. Glaucoma screening programmes is commital for the timely diagnosis and appropriate management of the same.
