Abstract

A 37 yrs male presented with proptosed left eye for 3 months, swelling of left upper lid, redness & watering for 2 months, restricted eye movements for around 1 month. His VA was 6/12,N6 OD and 6/36,N6 OS with BCVA 6/6,N6 OU. Left eye conjunctiva showed mild hyperemia & marked chemosis. The eye movements were reduced in lateral gaze. Orbit showed axial proptosis with mild dystopia. Rest was within normal limits. Right eye examination was insignificant.

His thyroid profile was normal.

USG-B scan & CEMRI revealed hypoechoic/ hyperintense mass 3.6cm x 1.6cm superolaterally with LR infiltration in the left orbit with high vascularity noted on Colour Doppler.

Biopsy revealed B-CELL EXTRA-NODAL MARGINAL ZONE LYMPHOMA OS (stage IE).

HRCT abdomen disclosed secondaries to the inguinal region.

He underwent R-CHOP (1 cycle) and CHOP (5 cycles) regimens followed by EBRT (4 Fraction x 2 Gy).

Following 6 cycles, proptosis improved; LR thickening regressed markedly. BCVA was maintained at 6/6,N6.
