Abstract
A 8-yr old female child consulted for diminution of vision in both eye (B/E) since 3 years with a presenting Visual acuity (VA) of counting finger close to face. On anterior segment examination, diagnosis of developmental cataract was made in OU.Ultrasound B-scan in right eye (OD) was normal and left eye (OS) showed spherical body in anterior vitreous cavity with high reflective wall moving with eye movement, likely suggestive of a vitreous cyst.Cataract surgery was done in B/E at 1 month interval .First postoperative VA was 6/9 in both eyes.On slit lamp examination, free floating pigmented vitreous cyst was confirmed in anterior vitreous cavity which was moving with movement of eye.
