24 year old male came with complaints of painful defective vision in right eye with photophobia and floaters.On examination vision RE -6/24 NIG.LE -6/6.RE anterior segment shows signs of anterior uveitis.LE -normal fundus examination right eye vitritis present.Disc -normal.Multiple deep retinal haemorrhages seen in all 4 quadrants with multiple deep yellowish white infiltrates with illdefined margins in all 4 quadrants seen in midperiphery with cloudy appearance and adjacent perivascular exudates.LE-normal.Patient was clinically diagnosed as Right eye acute unilateral panuveitis with occlusive vasculitis probably of infectious etiology ? Acute retinal necrosis.Lab investigations was normal except raised ESR.He was treated with oral antiviral therapy followed by oral steroids.On followup patient developed retinal detachment and was treated with systemic antiviral therapy and had undergone vitrectomy with silicone oil injection.Eye quiet with stable retina on follow up.
