Abstract
Today cataract surgery has indeed become a refractive surgery. Cataract surgery has undergone a paradigm shift and majority of the surgeons are competent in doing excellent surgery. The question then arises on what is your USP? The holy grail in cataract surgery seems to be the IOL implant which simulates normal vision. There are multitude of IOL available today from Toric IOL, Diffractive Multifocal IOL , Trifocal IOL, Toric Multifocal IOL to EDOF IOL. This course will give you an insight on the different technology of the premium IOLs and for whom you can consider implanting them. It also gives a comprehensive understanding of the post operative outcome vs desired results and what we need to aim for. Meticulous pre operative work up with adequate counselling followed by uneventful surgery will aid in achieving desired outcome with these IOLs.This course aims to help you improve the quality of your post op outcome and take your practice to next level.
