Abstract
In our clinical practice, we sometimes have to deal with patients who are unhappy or complaining inspite of best outcomes. Defining the “biomarkers of happiness“ is crucial to a good practice. Quality of vision is is definitely interrelated with a patient’s perception and identifying that, may require a “virtual” psychiatry couch in our clinics. This course will demonstrate how to incorporate all these coping techniques in practice. One important essential tool in the current pro-litigation attitude of patients is taking an adequate and appropriate consent which will also be discussed. This course gives an algorithmic approach for managing different post- treatment unhappy patients with a case based approach. Most importantly we have a detailed panel discussion with audience interaction about the impact COVID has had on our patient’s attitudes, our practice and our approach to medicine where we discuss how to cope with this entire situation better.
