Abstract

Primary Angle Closure Disease has the dubious distinction of being ranked amongst the top 3 causes of irreversible blindness.Moreover, it presents itself in different & confounding ways.

“It is my ambition to say in ten sentences what others say in a whole book”.

With this motto, through short & effective, video & case based lectures, the course covers all aspects of this disease including diagnosis, mastering the art of gonioscopy, lasers, medical & surgical management.

Dialogue is a powerful tool in the learning process.

Hence, a significant time of the IC is reserved for discussion with the audience, where queries faced by the general ophthalmologist while treating their glaucoma patients will be addressed by the panel of experienced glaucoma surgeons

At the end of the IC, each delegate will carry with him/her clear take home messages, which is the aim of every teaching modality, whether it is a lecture, video or instruction course.
