This video aims to show vitrectomy procedure in a long standing diabetic subhyaloid haemorrhage. The patient was pre-treated with anti VEGF injection and laser treatment prior to our facility. The procedure although uneventful shows some challenges faced while removing pseudohyaloid membranes , identifying active NVE fronds and attempts of leaving a blood-free macular area. The video should be able to highlight the do’s and dont’s in such situations as a vitreoretinal surgeon.
