Abstract

16 yr old boy presented with sudden decrease in vision in right eye following injury with a blunt object . on examination he had a visual acuity of 20/400 with submacular hemorrhage along with subretinal fluid in the posterior pole with a macular hole confirmed on OCT. he underwent 23 G vitrectomy with subretinal tPA injection followed by inverted ILM peeling and SF6 gas injection. He recovered a vision of 20/80 with complete displacement of subretinal hemorrhage with a choroidal rupture visualized post displacement
