Abstract
Glaucoma is the second most common cause of vision loss worldwide. Since glaucoma causes irreversible vision loss, early detection & timely management is vital for maximizing vision potential. A number of questions arise when evaluating a glaucoma suspect or a frank glaucoma patient, such as what are the basic clinical findings to look for or what investigations to order or how to interpret the test results. All the basic but mandatory clinical examinations & investigations will be covered in this IC. This IC will serve as a guide for diagnosing & managing glaucoma patients by residents, general ophthalmologists & glaucoma specialists.
