We describe here innovative technique. To get out of this problem. By giving relaxing cuts to the cartridge, with the help of keratome. To get the stuck iol haptic out of the cartridge intact. Without damaging the iol.

This simple technique, not only saves the trauma of iol explanation caused to anterior segment structures. But also saves the time. Without causing pain to the patient who are being operated under topical anaesthesia.
