Abstract
We as cataract surgeons come across a lot of difficult situations during cataract surgery and we sail through it most of the times .ALL WE NEED IS KNOWLEDGE, PATIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE.Coming across complicated cases like MATURE OR HYPERMATURE CATARACTS WITH SUBCAPSULAR FIBROUS SHEETS , that happens in cases like phacolytic glaucomas, post RD SURGERY patients with silicone oil and some post traumatic cases ,will immediately make anybody think of doing surgery in a conventional way .HOLD ON ! give it a thought is it really neccessary to cut open the capsule with different tools ?NO.. its possible to make a ccc in such cases . this particular video presentation will give an insight as to how one can ,with gentle hands manage to do phacoemulsification with an intact ccc .
