Abstract
34 Year old Indian female was a know case of Takayashu disease. She had significant vision drop in her left eye. Intraocular pressure was 10mmHg. She has a mature intumscent cataract in her left eye. There was no iris neovascularization. Fundus view was not possible. Right eye was normal with no iris or retinal neovascularization. She underwent phacoemulsification in her left eye. Video will display the technique of phacoemulsification in a mature cataract with very low intraocular pressure. Post-operatively eye was quiet and she gained vision of 6/12. Postoperative fundus examination showed spots of pan retinal photocoagulation.
