Abstract
METHODS: patients visiting an eye care centre from 1st April 2015 to 31st march 2020, were carefully examined, properly investigated, diagnosed and grouped under various disease categories involving different kinds of headache.
RESULTS: in total number of patients in 5 years of study, i.e., 32334, 15256 patients complained of headache due to various reasons. Among them 4534 was diagnosed with migraine, which is almost 29.72% of the patients having complaints of headache and 14% of the total patients visiting an eye care centre.
CONCLUSION: Migraine prevalence is reported higher in patients attending neurologists. But, the prevalence seen at an eye care centre is almost comparable to them.
