Abstract
k/c/o Coronary Artery Disease for which angioplasty was done 3 years back, Asthma 5 years, Hypertension 3 years.
Examination showed high IOP & corneal edema in Right Eye with vitreous in AC. PCIOL in situ with posterior capsule rupture. Left eye had Immature Cataract. IOP was lowered using intravenous mannitol, oral acetazolamide, brimonidine, dorzolamide. Prednisolone eye drops used to reduce inflammation.
YAG PI was done. IOP reduced, but vitreous knuckle still present at pupil. We discuss the further management options.
A learning complication in a YAG capsulotomy, which was controlled by YAG PI.
