Abstract
patients with refractory uveitic glaucoma(UG)
Methods:Retrospective chart review of 14 eyes(14 patients) with refractory UG who
underwent AGV implantation(2012-2019). Patients with ≤12 months followup were
excluded. Complete success was defined as intraocular pressure(IOP) ≥5 and ≤18mmHg
without antiglaucoma medications(AGM); qualified success if IOP≤18mmHg with AGM
Results:Mean postoperative followup was 30±19.18months. 7 eyes(50%) had previously
failed glaucoma surgery. Mean IOP preoperatively & at last followup was 39.21±8.99mmHg
and 14.78±3.35mmHg respectively(P<0.00001). Mean number of AGM was 4.42±0.93 preoperatively & 2±1.41 at last follow-up(P=0.00003). 2 eyes(14.28%) were classified as complete success, 10 eyes(71.42%) as qualified success & 2 eyes(14.28%) as failure because of tube explantation. Conclusion:AGV implantation is an effective surgical procedure for the management of refractory UG[advanced_iframe src="https://view.officeapps.live.com/op/embed.aspx?src=https://aiosproceedings.s3.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/2021/E-Poster/FP676.pptx" width="100%" height="608"]
