Results : A diagnosis of optic disc melanocytoma made based on the appearance. Patient was advised to undergo visual fields .
Conclusion : when compared to malignant melanoma, melanocytoma grows slowly over a period of time or remain stable. Rarely can cause visual loss due to optic neuropathy or retinal vascular obstruction. Serial fundus photography needed to rule out malignant transformation.
