Abstract
18 years old male presented with a B/L internal angular cystic mass continuous over the nasal bridge with acneform lesions over the face since 6 months. FNAC was s/o epidermoid cyst. CECT revealed a 3.4×0.9×3 cm lesion over the nose reaching laterally upto the B/L medial canthus. Antibiotics for acneform lesions were given after which the patient was lost to follow up. After 3 months, the mass on the right side had disappeared but was persistent on left side. MRI revealed a non-specific walled lesion measuring 1.5×0.6 cm and a diagnosis of sebaceous/epidermoid cyst was made. On excision, a solid, noncystic, nonencapsulated, fleshy mass with pultaceous material and surrounding fibrosis was noted. Biopsy revealed nonspecific cystic spaces lined by granulation tissue with foreign body giant cell reaction. This case is being reported as the clinical, radiological, and histological diagnosis were different and the disappearance of mass from the right side cannot be explained.
