Abstract
Both eyes congenital cataract was noted
B-SCAN USG: Right eye showing choroidal coloboma, Left eye showing choroidal coloboma with Retinal detachmentOn general examination,Right external ear abnormality detected
Chest x-ray:Thoracic scoliosis was noted
ENT EVALUATION:Both ears sensorineural hearing loss
2D ECHO –no valvular or flow abnormality detectable
Patient was managed by performing right eye phacoemulsification with foldable IOL implantationParameters of customised IOL Optical diameter of IOL – 5.25mm Length of IOL – 10.50mm IOL Power – + 30.00D
Post operatively best corrected visual acuity improved to near normal of 6/9 at 4 weeks
