Abstract
INTRODUCTION-Ophthalmology department has triple mission-clinical care,teaching & research. Residents are called to Frontline for COVID-19 duty leading to drastic change in working environment,psychological effects & disruption in ongoing learning of own speciality
AIM-Analyse the effects of COVID-19 pandemic on Academics of Ophthalmology residents,measures taken & future prospects
METHOD-Interview based study over the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on ongoing learning of the Ophthalmologists-in-training,analysing measures to curb the loss & ideas to cope up with the after effects
RESULT-Statistical analysis with Likert scale & graphical representation revealed interesting results-

CONCLUSION-Many changes in practice during pandemic will be accelerated,sustained & will become part of new normal after the COVID-19 pandemic
