The data was used to measure and evaluate 25-OH Vitamin D levels in different severity grading of patients with Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (POAG). The various levels of 25-OH Vitamin D were also compared with different grading of POAG.

In this study, maximum patients of Primary Open Angle Glaucoma were in the age group 50-60 years, presenting with moderate glaucoma. There was also significant association with advancing glaucoma and lower 25-OH Vitamin D3 levels. Advanced glaucoma showed insufficiency in 25-OH Vitamin D levels followed by moderate and mild glaucoma.
