Abstract
A 36 year female patient presented with gradual diminution of vision since 1year, patient noticed first in right eye then in left eye.Her BCVA were right 6/18 and left 6/36, gave history of occasional headache and giddiness, weight gain, fullness of breast and galactorrhea.Her local eye examinations including torch light, slitlamp and dilated indirect ophthalmoscpy were normal except pale disc; bitemporal hemianopia on confrontation test and automated visual field testing.MRI shows enlarged pituitary gland dimensions 33.4(CC)x28.5(AP) X27(TR)mm with increased prolactin level 241.8 (6-30 range)ng/ml was high. Patient managed with Cabergoline (dopamine agonist) and Endoscopic TNTS (trans nasal trans sphenoidal) decompression of pituitary adenoma with sellar floor reconstruction.On subsequent follow ups for 11 months shows normal prolactin level(23ng/ml) and normal MRI scan with improved BCVA ;RE 6/12 and LE 6/18.
