Abstract
Results: Raytracing imaging showed mean preoperative posterior corneal average keratometry (avKm) change from -6.53D in LASIK to -6.28D and -6.46D at month 1(p=0.022) & 3(p=0.001); from -6.42D in SMILE to -6.39D & -6.42D at month 1(p=1.00) & 3(p=1.00) respectively. Scheimpflug imaging showed mean posterior av-km change from -6.23D in LASIK to -6.26D & -6.21D at month 1(p=0.532) & 3(p=0.06); from -6.29D in SMILE to – 6.26D & -6.26D at month 1(p=1.00) & 3(p= 1.00) respectively.
Conclusions: Raytracing imaging detected significant posterior corneal astigmatism changes in fs-LASIK while Schiempflug imaging did not reveal significant changes. There was a low correlation between the two imaging modalities.
