Abstract

Endogenous endophthalmitis (EE)is caused by haematogenous spread of microrganisms from a remote infection to the eye. EE with staplococcal bone infection is rare but serious condition especially in Intravenous drug abuser.We describe case of EE in an IV drug abuser which further get complicated to septic pulmonary emboli and infectious endocarditis and septic arthritis. He was given intravitreal antibiotics and dexamethasone.
