Abstract
Methods: Study held between march 2019 and march 2020. 18 patients (18 eyes) with CME , treated with twice-daily flurbiprofen 0.03% drops and followed for at least 2 months Optical coherence tomography derived central retinal thickness were measured prior to treatment initiation and after treatment.
Results: Baseline. CRT decreased from 475 +- 98 μm at baseline to 385 +- 75 μm following treatment.
Conclusions: Our study outcomes strongly suggest that the administration of flurbiprofen 0.03% drops on a twice-daily regimen could be alternative for the management of CME in diabetic patients.
