Abstract
A 47 year old Male came to ophthalmology OPD with c/o frequent change in glass prescription over past 25 yrs,O/E BCVA in RE 6/18 LE 6/12,on slit lamp examination BE cornea shows inferior thinning,ahove the thinning there is ectasia AC was deep.The topographic examination was done outside at higher centre which suggestive of in RE SRI of 1.31SAI of 1.26potential VA 20/30 to 20/40, Sim k of 53.8×163°/44.7×77° and Min k of 45.5×89°.In LE showed SRI of 2.69,SAI of 2.74 potential VA 20/60 to 20/100,sim k of 44.3×122°/41.5 ×32°and min k of 38.1×53°. Provisional diagnosis – PMCD in BE He was on regular follow up,during last visit he complained of irritation and foreign body sensation,pain & watering On slit lamp examination of BE conjunctiva had 2+ papillae,cornea of BE shows scarring with ghost vessels,Based on above findings an impression of allergic conjunctivitis with PMCD was made.And the patient was advised to use sodium cromoglycate 4%e/d, BID for 6 weeks and asked review after2months
