Abstract
We present the case of a 19 year old patient who presented with unilateral proptosis, chemosis and ophthalmolegia with low grade fever and raised leucocyte counts. CECT of the orbits revealed the typical features of an orbital pseudotumour. He was managed with systemic steroids and broad spectrum antibiotics in view of his raised blood counts. There was a dramatic clinical improvement within 48 hours and the proptosis resolved completely within 2 weeks. This case highlights the unusual presentation of an uncommon disease for which a high index of suspicion is required for accurate diagnosis and management.Presence of low grade fever and a raised leucocyte count were confounding signs in this case. An accurate imaging helped clinch the diagnosis
