Abstract
Method: In this retrospective review data regarding clinical features, surgical details & outcomes of patients with ZONE I GR from 2007-2020, collected in pretested formats was retrieved from EMR, exported onto excel sheets & analysed using SPSS 22. Descriptive analyses & cross tabulation function has been used to analyse & p<0.05 considered significant. Results: our cohort consisted of 818 eyes with GR out of which 646 were zone 1 injury. 29.3 % female & 70.7% male with mean age 23 years. 69.2% eyes presented with vision <1/60. 52.6% were paediatric patients. 59.8 % had wound size 4-7 mm. On comparative study significant difference was found in pre- & post-operative vision. (p=0.00). Visual outcome significantly affected by size of wound.
