Abstract
: NVG is a severe form of glaucoma with devastating visual outcome due to new BV obstructing outflow, secondary to retinal ischemia. Invasion of the AC by a fibrovascular membrane contracts to produce synechial ACG.
Case : she came with C/O of Ocular pain, & DOV in LE since 15 days.she had similar episodes. K/C/O DM & HTN. She had LE cataract SX & intravitreal injection 4 months back, & H/O sx? in RE 3 years ago.
RE NO PL vision, well formed bleb, iridectomy scar, shallow AC. tractional band + supero-temporally in retina S/O RD, & 0.9 CDR.
LE PL+ shallow AC ,NV of pupil margin, new vessels in angles & ectropion uveae shining reflex.tension was N/R. H’ges + in all retina, NVD & NVE with 0.8 CDR.
•Conclusion: NV & ACG are serious complications of a number of diseases. NVG can be potentially blinding if not treated promptly.
•PURPOSE : To represent the severe complications of DM combined with ACG. it is very important to recognise the disease and prevent the dire consequences
