Abstract
Telemedicine policy March 2020 permits teleconsult now. Authors present a prototype low cost solution implemented using existing devices and minimal modification of existing setups.Materials used for this modification have currently been drawn up from used electronic items like A0 0-FILM WH273 (Kernel Menu:Version Back Camera: ofilm_ s5k3I8) sensor harvested from a used Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Alternative camera module was also tested on Arduino and Raspberry Pi 3b. Then the prototype was prepared by making suitable connections to be connected to working mobile phones. Suitable software and network settings were used to stream video and click photographs in realtime. Raspberry pi was used for remote streaming to 32 inch display. High quality equipment at very reasonable price points using new sensors is commercially viable. Most camera sensors can be modified to deliver results. Using easily available equipment a low cost teleophthalmology setup can be made with existing equipment
