Abstract
O/E:Left axial proptosis, Luedds exophthalmometry ,R/E-23 mm,L/E-26 mm, Ptosis-4 mm L/E, Lid lag sign present,mild conjunctival congestion,periorbital edema. V/A- R/E-6/18,L/E-6/18.
Thyroid Function Tests: normal
CT SCAN ORBITS: Left Medial and lateral rectus hypertrophy with choroid inflammation
MRI: bilateral enlarged recti,more on the left side with tendinous sparing, suggesting thyroid ophthalmopathy.
After Medicine consultation,treatment:Tab Neomarcazole10 mg TID,Tab propranolol40 mg BD ,Lubricating eye drops and ointment.
At 6 months-Serum TSH<0.015, BCVA-6/6 B/E, Luedds exophthalmometry-R/E-23 mm,L/E-23mm with gradual resolved signs and symptoms.
