A 62 years old female presented with diminusion of vision in both eyes (left > right) since a year. Slit lamp examination showed shallow AC and black cataract in both eyes. Left eye also showed RAPD. IOP was 28 and 40 mmHg respectively. Gonioscopy showed occludable angles in right eye and closed angles in left eye. She was diagnosed as a case of bilateral black cataract with primary angle closure glaucoma. This case was managed with a effort to restore maximum possible vision for the patient from the two most common blinding illnesses in ophthalmology.
