FP0704 : XERODERMA PIGMENTOSUM WITH BILATERAL OCULAR SURFACE SQUAMOUS NEOPLASIA

Abstract
In our study a 13yr old male patient presented with photophobia in both eyes and gradually progressive painless mass with watering, Itching and redness in the right eye since 2months. BCVA in RE 6/60 and LE 6/36. RE 6x6mm fleshy pink oval pedunculated mass lesion arising from temporal limbus and 2mm hyperpigmented lesion in nasal limbus. LE gelatinous white flat diffuse lesion with pigmentation 3mm both in nasal and temporal limbus. BE Anterior segment, ocular motility, fundus in BE are normal. Patient had multiple hyperpigmented spots(freckles) and scaly skins in face and trunk s/o Xeroderma pigmentosa for which he was on irregular treatment. RE tumor mass was excised with intraoperative control of surgical margins with adjunctive cryotherapy and sent for histopathology examination, which was confirmed as squamous neoplasia. Postoperatively, RE started on Topical Mitomycin-c 0.02% 4cycles, LE on Interferon alpha2b 1MIU/ml 6wks and patient were carefully followed for any recurrence.
