Abstract
Ocular morbidity due to corneal catastrophies are a major cause of concern in clinical practice of an ophthalmologist. Ocular infections and trauma is a major concerning factor warranting timely intervention to avoid the catastrophe of corneal blindness. A combination of different procedures with its ease of accessibilty can prove beneficial to the patient’s long term visual outcome.This course highlights the various available options to the treating clinicians in reducing the visual impairement and providing a favorable long term prognosis.
