Abstract

In the era of modern cataract surgery, though the cataract surgery looks simple, most cataract surgeons would agree that each case is different and can be surprisingly difficult. Although most surgeries have successful outcomes, even a experienced surgeon faces a complication in routine cataract surgery. What if what if we encounter a heart- pounding complex Cataract situation. The course will highlight the preoperative planning, surgical modifications and tips of avoiding complications in complex situations like clouded corneas, vitrectomised eyes, eyes with extremes of axial length, small pupil ,hard cataract, polar cataracts , colobomatous eyes .
