Abstract
Congenital cranial dysinnervation disorders are a repertoire of diverse clinical entities emanating from dysinnervation embracing mechanical or paralytic strabismus or a variable blend of both and posing formidable diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. Recent advances in genetics and neuro-imaging have exponentially added to our understanding of these abstruse disorders and many more entities like congenital 3rd / 4rth nerve palsies, Brown’s syndrome , MEDs have joined the group. Evaluation of ocular motility and ocular deviation require special skills. Surgical difficulties may be paramount and outcomes modest rendering them challenging entities. The aim of this instruction course is to familiarize the attendees with newer entrants to this group, genetic backdrop, neuro-imaging findings, clinical presentations and paradigms of surgical management. The course will be video assisted, Reputed experts in the field will share their rich experiences and session will be interactive..
