Abstract
Uveitis is a common, sometimes sight threatening inflammatory ocular condition constituting an array of heterogenous clinical entities and varied etiologies. It is commonly misdiagnosed, under-treated and feared by fellow general eye practitioners. It will be our endeavour to utilise this instruction course as a stepping stone to educate our fellow ophthalmologists in approaching a patient with uveitis with renewed confidence. The course will focus on a simple algorithmic approach of tackling various forms of uveitis. All types of uveitis ranging from a simple anterior uveitis to fulminant pan-uveitis, examination with slit lamp to OCT-A and autofluorescence, investigations from chest x-ray to biopsy and PCR, treatment modalities from topical steroids to immune-modulators and biologicals will be covered. We will lay emphasis on clinical photographs, videos, active audience interaction with our experienced faculty to pass on wide ranging knowledge & clinical pearls to the participants.
