Main goal of this video is to share the learning pearls, which I have learnt from my initial cases, and to make beginners to get over the initial fear of starting DMEK (Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty). In this video, I have shared my learning experience in DMEK graft preparation, recipient preparation and unscrolling technique. Also I have shared complications, which are common in the beginning of DMEK surgery and could avoid by knowing basic tips and tricks. The most devastating complication is donor tissue loss. In this video, I have explained the solutions to avoid this complication. Several articles published on DMEK surgical technique, instead of those young corneal surgeons hesitate to start DMEK surgery. In this video, I have attempted to summaries my learning experience and tried to give learning points through my journey of DMEK surgery.
