Abstract
Pediatric cataract surgery in an eye with congenital glaucoma is a difficult procedure. The present video highlights the surgical technique and outcome of cataract surgery in a 13-year-old boy who underwent surgery for congenital glaucoma at the age of 2 months. A clear corneal incision was made to perform phacoemulsification and in-the-bag IOL implantation. The corneal incision and the paracentesis were closed by interrupted 10-o’ nylon sutures. Surgery was uneventful and the patient gained visual acuity of 20/30 at the 6th postoperative week. The tips and tricks of the surgery have been highlighted in the video.
