Abstract

This video attempts to comprehensively demonstrate different methods employed in the management of lens/iol drop, aided by animated video of the procedure for easy understanding.

The video begins with dramatic depiction of a surgeons who faces a posterior capsular rent during phacoemulsification. Surgical video shows an attempt to fish out the nucleus from the anterior vitreous

A. Management of dropped crystalline lens

1.Phaco fragmentation- video demonstrate vitrectomy and fragmentation of lens
