Abstract
Circuses often feature risky balancing acts. So do ophthalmic practice during COVID crises. With the advent of corona, we made an isolation cubicle with acrylic and; all OPD and investigative tools were shifted into it, to reduce face to face interactions and minimise movement. Though it was successful in preventing the virus spread, it created a physical barrier between the doctor and patient. Communication became challenging. Thus we innovated this do it yourself tool, to gather information through questionnaires with pictures, which will be sent to patient’s phones after registration, to understand how much they understood. Answering was done during their triage wait time and results were automatically generated to the doctor’s PC; so practice delivery can be customised. This tool also primes the patient with video containing safety measures taken inside the hospital requesting them to follow it. Making patients feel safe and special will yield fruitful results during this pandemic.
